Washington: Pharrell Williams and August Alsina claimed most wins with two awards each at the recently held BET Awards 2014 at the Los Angeles' Nokia Theatre.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, while Williams, 41, won the best male R and B/Pop artist and video of the year for 'Happy', 21-year-old Alsina took home the award for best new artist and the Coca-Cola viewers' choice award at the event by Black Entertainment Television network, which started in 2001 to accolade the work African-Americans in the fields of entertainment.
