Keating's lawyer, Gerald Kean, filed the lawsuit against the 26-year-old singer and told TMZ that they are taking this battle very seriously.
Keating, who worked for the singer till July 2013, claimed that 'Good Girl Gone Bad' star made false statements about him in an email sent to him and his wife last July, and even used the same defamatory accusation through a phone call to his sister.
He is seeking compensation and correction of the alleged comments from the brunette beauty.
