Actor Ryan Reynolds has been roped in to star in the remake of 1986 movie 'Highlander'

The Canadian star will play protagonist Scotsman Connor MacLeod in a new version of the classic film, reports contactmusic.com.
The original fantasy action film was directed by Russell Mulachy and starred Christopher Lambert as Connor and Sean Connery as Juan Sanchez Villa-Lobos Ramirez.u00a0
