According to legal documents obtained by TMZ, the individual at the centre of the case has been identified as 31-year-old William Applegate. In a declaration submitted to the court, Sabrina Carpenter stated that she has never met or communicated with him. “William Applegate is a complete stranger to me. I have never met or communicated with him in any way. I have no desire to meet him or communicate with him,” she said.
