Los Angeles: 'Buffy The Vampire Slayer' star Sarah Michelle Gellar has joined the voice cast of Disney XD's 'Star Wars Rebels' for the upcoming second season in a recurring role.

The news comes after the finale for the animated series, which takes place in the years between the Star Wars movies' prequel trilogy and the original trilogy, reported Deadline.
