Gomez was serenaded by the crowd of thousands, which included some of the most talented singers including Taylor Swift, gathered at Los Angeles's Gibson Amphitheatre as she was presented with sparkler-topped cupcakes, reported People magazine.

"This is the best birthday present ever," she said after she was presented with her Teen Choice surf board. Marking the milestone with her was boyfriend Justin Bieber, seated next to her in the front row and performed later in the show before receiving an award of his own choice male artist.
