'Tranformers' star Megan Fox was so upset with her Hollywood image as a sexy bimbette that the depression resulted in her hair falling out.

To face her fears, the actress first piled on the pounds and then starved herself to sickness, while shooting for the film 'Jennifer's Body', reported Female First.

"Really my only job is to look attractive. I was so angry about that, that I went in the opposite direction. I turned into a really butch bull dyke for, like, six months... Then I went in the other direction. I turned into a zombie. I lost, like, 30 pounds," said the 23-year-old beauty.

The actress plays a high school cheerleader who turns into a man-eating killer when she is possessed by a demon in the film. Fox tried to convince herself she was losing weight in an effort to prepare for the role, but secretly knew it was because she felt so low.

"I was telling myself I was being Method. I was like, 'I'm losing weight for the movie'. But I ended up getting sick and my hair started falling out. I was really skinny. I was depressed," said the actress who was recently voted 'The World's Sexiest Woman' by a men's magazine.
