Singer-actress Zendaya is all set to join Tom Holland in the Spider-Man reboot.

Her character details are not out yet, but it is being reported that she has not been signed to play Peter Parker&rsquo;s love interest. It has emerged that Zendaya was one of a handful of actresses who had been testing with Holland for the past couple of weeks, a source told a website.
&ldquo;The character is neither Peter Parker&rsquo;s love interest nor a lead role. She will, however, play a bigger part in future installments,&rdquo; the source said.
Sony Pictures Entertainment has teamed with Marvel Studios to produce the sixth movie in its franchise. Jon Watts is directing the currently untitled Spider-Man film, which focuses on a teenage Parker&rsquo;s high school days.
The film&rsquo;s plot details are still being heavily guarded, and production is expected to start this summer.
Holland&rsquo;s Spider-Man will first make an appearance in the upcoming Captain America: Civil War.
