Kesha accused her producer Dr Luke of abusing her and demanded to be released from her recording contract with him.
On February 19, New York Supreme Court Justice Shirley Kornreich denied her request because of the lack of medical evidence related to the singer's assault allegations, reports a website.
Kesha's mother, Pebe Sebert tweeted: "Taylor Swift has just generously donated $250,000 to Kesha, as a show of support during this difficult time. AMAZING!! A persons wealth is not measured by what they have but by WHO they help with it. And Taylor Swift is a truly Rich Person. Thank you (sic)."
Ever since the decision came, a lot of global celebrities, including Swift, showed their support for the Tik Tok singer. Lady Gaga, Ariana Grande, Kelly Clarkson and Iggy Azalea were among those who sent positive messages to support Kesha.
