Filmmaker Christopher Nolan's upcoming film The Odyssey is already creating buzz despite being weeks, in fact, more than a month, away from hitting theatres. The film has already become one of the most talked-about releases of the year. Ahead of its July 17 release, the advance bookings for IMAX screenings went live across India on Monday, June 8. Fans rushed online to grab seats; however, they were stunned by ticket prices.

Most expensive ticket of The Odyssey is sold out

In Mumbai and Pune, some premium seats for the film are priced as high as Rs 3,300 on BookMyShow, making them the costliest movie tickets currently on sale in the country. Mumbai and Pune are among the frontrunners selling the most expensive tickets in the country. Surprisingly, the steep rates could not dampen the excitement among the fans, as the most expensive tickets have already been sold out.
