The film centers around Cruise’s role as Lieutenant Colonel Bill Cage, a soldier who is caught in a time loop while he fights an alien race – and dies again and again – that has invaded Earth. Cruise’s character is able to learn after each death, until he’s able to defeat invaders. The movie is scheduled for a March 2014 release.
