Hollywood actor Taraji P Henson has joined the cast of the upcoming film, Why Did I Get Married Again? Filmmaker Tyler Perry recently made the revelation about the actor coming onboard for the film.

The film, set to release on September 9, also stars Jill Scott, Richard T Jones, Michael Jai White, Tasha Smith, and Sharon Leal. The new story takes place at a wedding in Lake Como, Italy. The film is a follow-up to Why Did I Get Married? (2007) and Why Did I Get Married Too? (2010), and centres on the wedding of Marcus and Angela Williams’ daughter.
