On the stage, the actors acknowledged the film's success, expressing gratitude for everyone who was a part of it.
"We're so grateful for the love you all showed to our movie. You guys have the theatres packed. We're truly so humbled. Your support means the world to the Jackson family," Jaafar Jackson said on stage at the Peacock Theatre, according to Deadline.
Chiming in further, Nia Long shared, "Portraying Katherine Jackson reminded me that grace is quiet and still, and tonight we honour that. Jaafar, it was an honour watching you transform into your uncle right before our eyes."

The Michael Jackson biopic has surpassed Christopher Nolan's '<a href="https://www.mid-day.com/entertainment/hollywood-news/article/michael-box-office-jaafar-jackson-film-becomes-highest-grossing-biopic-of-all-time-beats-oppenheimer-23637349" target="_blank" rel="none noopener">Oppenheimer</a>' to reach the milestone.
'Michael' has already ranked as the biggest musical biopic of all time, crossing 2018's 'Bohemian Rhapsody', which earned USD 911 million worldwide.
While Jackson stepped in as the King of Pop, Colman Domingo and Nia Long were seen as parents Joe and Katherine.
