The 19-year-old singer confirmed that she will be starring in Sony's upcoming reboot project on her recent visit to "The Ellen DeGeneres Show," reported Aceshowbiz.

Zendaya would play a character named Michelle opposite Tom Holland's Peter Parker. Questions arose since her casting news broke because Michelle's not in the comic books.
Jon Watts is on board to direct the 'Spider-Man' reboot, which is due July 7, 2017 in the US.
