Bhagyashree will reprise Revathy's role in the Telugu version of the Alia Bhatt and Arjun Kapoor-starrer, 2 States (2014), based on Chetan Bhagat's bestseller by the same name. The film, helmed by debutant Venkat Reddy, stars Adivi Sesh and veteran actor Rajasekhar's daughter Shivani. Best remembered for Maine Pyar Kiya (1989), Bhagyashree was last seen in Red Alert: The War Within (2010) and Humko Deewana Kar Gaye (2006).
