Actor Adivi Sesh on upcoming films G2 and Dacoit: ‘I believe good cinema speaks every language’

Telugu actor Adivi Sesh wants to reach out to a wide audience across India with his next two releases, Dacoit and G2 – Goodachari 2. Currently shooting for G2, an espionage thriller, with Wamiqa Gabbi in Hyderabad, the actor shares that both projects are being filmed in Hindi and Telugu to make them more accessible. “I have always believed that good cinema speaks every language. Dacoit is an emotional action thriller rooted in love and longing, and G2 is a spy spectacle that expands the world we built with Goodachari [2018]. What binds Dacoit and G2 is an honest attempt to tell Indian stories in a way that feels global in vision,” he says.

While Sesh has booked the Christmas 2025 window for the Mrunal Thakur and Anurag Kashyap-starrer, director Vinay Kumar Sirigineedi’s G2 – Goodachari 2 is slated for a May 2026 release. Enjoying his first collaboration with Thakur and Gabbi, the actor says, “Wamiqa is a skilled artiste, and Mrunal has the ability to add depth in the simplest of scenes. Collaborating with talents like them is exhilarating.”
