What began as a regular segment at a Coldplay concert recently turned into a viral moment on social media. At their recent show in Massachusetts, Coldplay frontman Chris Martin was seen interacting with the crowd through the kiss cam. The camera captured Astronomer CEO Andy Byron and HR head Kristin Cabot hugging on the giant screen, prompting a flurry of online speculation.

Baahubali hops on viral Coldplay meme trend

Since then, memes have been doing the rounds on the internet and now, the makers of the Indian epic film Baahubali have joined the trend.

Taking to their official social media handle, the Baahubali team shared a throwback still from the film featuring Prabhas and Anushka Shetty as Baahubali and Devasena. The caption read, “CEO & HR of Maahishmathi.”

In the image, Baahubali and Devasena are seen in a pose similar to that of Andy Byron and Kristin Cabot at the Coldplay concert, when they were captured on the big screen.

Chris Martin's casual warning to audience after viral PDA moment goes wrong

The singer issued a playful warning to concertgoers during Coldplay’s latest show, following the viral kiss cam incident from the band’s previous concert earlier in the week, reports People magazine.

Recently, the 48-year-old singer and his band performed at Camp Randall Stadium in Madison, Wisconsin. This marked Coldplay’s first Music of the Spheres World Tour performance since their appearance at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts, where a man and a woman went viral for their reaction to being spotted together on camera.

According to People, during Coldplay's July 19 show, Martin gave a lighthearted introduction to the on-camera segment of the performance. “We’d like to say hello to some of you in the crowd,” he said, as the audience erupted in cheers, per a fan-recorded clip. “How we’re gonna do that is, we’re gonna use our cameras and put some of you on the big screen.” After flashing a grin, the Yellow singer added a cheeky warning: “So please, if you haven’t done your makeup, do your makeup now.”

The Coldplay fan who posted footage of the show later noted on X (formerly Twitter) that “zero couples” were shown on the venue’s jumbotron during that portion of the event.

During the viral moment earlier that week, the unidentified man and woman reacted awkwardly when they were seen together on the large screens at the stadium.

Martin playfully commented in the moment, saying, “Oh, look at these two. All right, c’mon. You’re okay.” He added with a laugh, “Oh, what? Either they’re having an affair or they’re just very shy.”
