Actors Yashas Surya and Meghana play the lead roles and well-known actress Prema plays a supportive role. Santosh Kumar, who is all of 7'8", playsu00a0 anti hero and Sudan's Ataib, Meghalaya's Ashish and Tibet's Tenfinz act in this film.<br /><br />Director Manju Swaraj says, "Shishira is not only a story-based movie but also a very technical film. We shot for around 30 days from 6 am to 2 am and slept for only four hours."<br /><br />This is not all. Swaraj also says that a song measuring 3 minutes and 40 seconds was shot in a single complicated shot. "We have used more than 200 floodlights for this shot." <br /><br />Actress Prema says, "I had decided not to act after marriage but Shishira's theme inspired me to act. I learnt something from this new team while shooting".</p>
