Actors Adivi Sesh and Mrunal Thakur are currently shooting for their upcoming film, Dacoit. However, according to latest reports, during an unfortunate incident, the two leading actors have been injured on the sets of the film. Although neither of the two nor the makers has issued any official statements on the incident, reports claimed that both sustained minor injuries and were provided with immediate medical attention.

According to a Telugu 360 report, the incident took place when Adivi and Mrunal were filming a high-octane scene for the actioner. For the unversed, the shooting of the film has been taking place in Hyderabad. Mrunal and Adivi were reportedly performing a fast-paced action scene.

After being provided with immediate first-aid, the two continued the shoot. It is also being said that Adivi later visited a physician to get himself checked. Meanwhile, Mrunal too prioritised the shoot and later wrapped up the day's schedule early to avoid further delays.
Notably, Adivi and Mrunal's accident comes amid many accidents being reported on sets. A few days ago, stuntman SM Raju died on the sets of Pa Ranjith's upcoming film while he was performing a high-octane car stunt. After incorrectly landing on a ramp, his car flipped multiple times mid-air before landing with a thud. In other news, Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan also sustained a back injury while filming an action sequence on the sets of his upcoming film King.
About Dacoit
Dacoit is an upcoming Telugu romantic action thriller movie directed by Shaneil Deo. Apart from Advi and Mrunal, the film also stars Anurag Kashyap and Prakash Raj in key roles. Notably, the film was earlier supposed to star Shruti Haasan opposite Adivi Sesh; however, she backed out of the project for reasons best known to the team. Eventually, it was then that Mrunal was brought on board.
Dacoit marks the directorial debut of cinematographer Shaneil Deo, who has previously worked with Adivi in the past as well. The film is being shot simultaneously in both Telugu and Hindi, and it is scheduled to hit the silver screens on Christmas 2025.
