An AI-generated video involving Janhvi Kapoor and Jr NTR has sparked fresh concerns over the misuse of artificial intelligence after footage from their popular Devara: Part 1 song Chuttamalle was digitally manipulated into sexually explicit content. Jr NTR has now condemned the clip and warned that legal action will be taken against both those who created it and those circulating it online.

Jr NTR calls out on AI misuse

Reacting to the video on X on October 3, Jr NTR called it “disgusting, sick and shameless” and criticised the use of AI to digitally alter a woman's appearance in a degrading manner. He also urged people not to watch, share or engage with the video, warning that such misuse of technology can affect anyone. “I will take every possible legal action against those who created it and those who are spreading it,” the actor said in his post. NTR further called on state governments and the Centre to introduce stronger safeguards against harmful AI-generated content.
