The teaser of Prabhas-starrer Fauzi was unveiled on the actor’s 47th birthday on October 23, introducing his character in the period drama. However, the video has sparked controversy over its portrayal of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose’s meeting with Adolf Hitler. Netaji’s grandnephew, Chandra Kumar Bose, has objected to the alleged distortion of historical facts and demanded an apology from the makers.

Reacting to the Fauzi teaser, socio-political leader Suparno Satpathy wrote, “Dear @hanurpudi Garu, describing in one word this teaser is ‘goosebumps’ ... Mixing fiction with history isn’t a good idea … Nevertheless, best wishes are for the release on 19 Mar ‘2027.”
