According to a report by Gulte, Padmaja had been keeping unwell for some time now and was under medical care. On Monday night, the 73-year-old reportedly experienced severe breathing issues and was rushed to the hospital. Despite receiving immediate treatment, she could not be revived. She breathed her last in the early hours of Tuesday.
The report also suggests that Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu, who is also the son-in-law of the Nandamuri family, immediately left Vijayawada upon hearing the news to be with the grieving family. Meanwhile, BJP leader and Padmaja's sister-in-law, Daggubati Purandeswari, is also making her way from Delhi to join the family during this difficult time.
The final rites and funeral arrangements are believed to be announced soon. Her family members, friends, and political colleagues are likely to attend in large numbers to pay their respects to the deceased.
