Actor Jr NTR recently made waves for his Bollywood debut with War 2. The actor is next collaborating with KGF fame Prashanth Neel and is undergoing an intense preparation for it. Amid this, reports surfaced that the actor has sustained a major injury and is advised rest. His team has now issued an official statement and mentioned how the actor got injured while shooting an ad and requests media to refrain from speculations.

The statement issued by Jr NTR's team on Friday reads, "Mr NTR sustained a minor injury today while shooting for an advertisement. On medical advice, he will be resting for the next couple of weeks to ensure a complete recovery. We would like to assure everyone that his condition is stable and there is no cause for concern. We sincerely request fans, media and the public to refrain from any speculation (sic)."

After the news went viral his fans are praying for the actor's speedy recovery. A fan tweeted, "Get well soon anna (sic)." Another fan wrote, "A speed recovery tarak9999 anna (sic)." One more fan tweeted, "Get well soon tarak9999 more strength to you (sic)."
Jr NTR's upcoming movies
On the work front, Jr NTR and Prashanth Neel are teaming up for the first time with the tentatively titled Dragon (NTRNeel). The movie is said to be a high-octane actioner slated to release on June 25, 2026. While casting details are yet to be confirmed, it is believed that Kantara: Chapter 1 fame Rukmini Vasanth and Malayalam actor Tovino Thomas will play key roles in the movie.
Looking ahead, Jr NTR is in talks with Jailer director Nelson Dilipkumar for a movie. In addition to Dragon and the Nelson project, he is also expected to headline a Dadasaheb Phalke biopic and a mythological drama directed by Trivikram Srinivas. Apart from this, reports are also rife that he will soon start shooting for Devara 2.
He was most recently seen in War 2, which marked his Bollywood debut. The Ayan Mukerji film pitted him against Hrithik Roshan and despite good response, it failed to strike gold at the box office.
