Dhanush’s Kara title dispute

A report in ETimes stated that producer Vengai Ayyanar filed the case on behalf of a Salem-based production banner. As reported by The Hindu, in his petition, he stated that he had already registered the title Kara with the Producers’ Council back in 2021. He also claimed that he has been developing a film under the same title, featuring actors like Master Mahendran and Motta Rajendran. According to him, using the same or a similar title for Dhanush's film could confuse audiences. He further mentioned that his earlier complaints to the Producers’ body received no proper response.
