Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana is undoubtedly one of the most anticipated projects. The makers have mostly kept the details of the project under wraps, which has further heightened the buzz and curiosity around the Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi and Yash-starrer. So far, a few members of the cast have been confirmed, including Sai Pallavi, who will be seen acting the role of Sita. Now, a video of KGF fame Srinidhi Shetty clarifying her involvement in the film has been going viral.

There were rumours doing the rounds that Srindhi had rejected the role of Sita in Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayana. She was asked about the same during an interview, and the actress recently revealed that she had auditioned for the role of Goddess Sita. A clip of Srinidhi from an interview is now going viral on Reddit, wherein she clarified that it’s a fact she had auditioned for the film, but she didn’t get the part, and it’s not like she rejected it.
In the viral clip, Srinidhi could be seen saying, “I didn’t reject the Sita role. I’m nobody to reject it. I would’ve fallen flat if they had given me the role. I just gave an audition and wasn’t selected. I’m happy that Sai Pallavi got the role."
Her clarification has been earning praise from the audience. Reacting to the clip, one user commented, “A very mature response by her," while another user wrote, “Wow, she is sportingly accepting that she got rejected. Way to go!" Another user noted, “She sounds so positive and warm."
