Filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt recently made a bold and absurd confession that left people shocked. He revealed that during his early struggling days, he fed an investor human flesh,  in order to get money from an investor, as per instructions given by a tantrik. The director's confession has now largely come in the limelight, leading to netizens trolling him.

Mahesh Bhatt makes an absurd confession

During his appearance on Pooja Bhatt's new podcast, Mahesh revealed that when he was in his 20s, he once went to Varanasi with his friend Arun Desai, where he met a guru. He recalled, "There was a queue of very poor people waiting to have an audience with that guruji. He was a tantrik, a young man who held a bottle of rum in his hand and would keep on dancing." He further revealed, "He pulled out a piece and he made a pudiya out of it, and he said this is human flesh, which has been taken out from the ghats. He said, 'Take this and feed it to your potential investor, and he will give you money." Bhatt says in that moment he thought he had found the key to this kingdom of money.

He further shared that there was this zamindar in the outskirts of Gaya who came up with the idea of disguising human flesh as a pan. It was then that it struck him to buy a paan and put this on a paan and give it to him. Describing how the investor had this human flesh in paan form, Bhatt shared, "And slowly, he brought it close to his mouth and then, he started chewing it. We felt that we had hit the bull's eye."

However, a month later, the same friend told him that they are not getting any money from the investor. Mahesh Bhatt's confession has led to strong reactions from netizens who seem disgusted by his actions.

Netizens react

One user said, "When we cremate the dead body, it is supposed to be guarded as it is used for all these purposes. I am rather surprised he is making this public." Meanwhile, another wrote, "This man is such a creep! Sounds believable, he could totally fall to this level."

One comment read, "Umm, why is this man not cancelled for shit like this?" as another read, "Where did the tantric even get the flesh from?" Someone else wrote, "Um, whose flesh did he use?" A person went on to say, "Papa is trying to ruin everything that Alia is trying to build. This isn't the image she wants," while someone wrote, "This is one of those secrets one should take with them to the grave."
