You came back to films, after a long gap, with Kannadada Kiran Bedi. Are you happy with your decision?u00a0
I was worried about audience acceptance, especially because I was returning to films after 5 years, and that too with an action film. But the response has been great. Even kids enjoyed the film because of the stunts. The film's success has been a shot in the arm.
What keeps you busy nowadays?u00a0
I want to do only action roles in the future. I'm discussing scripts with Raamu, my husband who is a film producer. I have become a fan of aerobics exercises and I work out with my personal trainer Santhosh Talwalkar. I'm also on a special diet of fibre-rich food.u00a0u00a0
Don't you fear monotony if you work only in action films?u00a0
I don't think so. The characters are different though the films are action-oriented. As long as my audience is satisfied with my roles, I'm happy.
Any plans to turn director?u00a0
No. Direction calls for a different kind of perspective on films and the craft. I am happy being an actress.
What about a career in politics? Many of your contemporaries are dabbling in netagiri.u00a0
Are you referring to Ramba, Meena, Nagma, Shruti and Sudharani? They must be happy with the choices they made. I am happy with mine it will always be acting for me.
