The makers of director Jithin K Jose's upcoming Malayalam film Kalamkaval, starring Malayalam superstar Mammootty and Vinayakan in the lead, have confirmed that the release of the film has been postponed. Notably, this comes just a week before its scheduled release date. 

Mammootty's Kalamkaval postponed

The makers had earlier announced the release date of the film as November 27 this year. Mammootty Kampany, the production house of actor Mammootty, took to X to announce the delay and wrote, "Delayed, NOT Diminished. We hear you... The wait is noted.
