The veteran star attended the ceremony, where he received the prestigious honour from the President of the country. After this special milestone in his career, he took to social media to express heartfelt gratitude. He penned a special post, stating that it was a significant moment in his life.

Affectionately known as "Mama," Saraf was born in Mumbai in 1947 and began his acting journey in 1969.
