Karthik Gattamneni's directorial fantasy film Mirai, starring Teja Sajja, Manchu Manoj, and Ritika Nayak, has finally hit the screens. As soon as the film was released, it sparked a buzz on social media, as reactions have started to pour in on X, formerly known as Twitter. The film is garnering a lot of attention for its spectacular VFX, Prabhas' small but impactful cameo and the overall movie experience.

Mirai X reviews

Hailing Prabhas' cameo in the film, one fan wrote, "Hype God. Mass God. Helping God to many Young TFI Heroes! Prabhas is & will be the Biggest Supporter ever in TFI! All Hail the REBEL GOD". Posting a short and to the point review, one user wrote, "Top notch visuals and background music

Another revie read, "Mirai >>> HanuMan. It will create a real havoc at the box-office. It is a mind-blowing visual treat, exemplary storytelling. And #Prabhas at last. The theaters have gone mad at the scene. BGM is earth shattering."

A user hailing the film wrote, "Mirai is a gripping cinematic experience — powerful story, brilliant execution, and even in just 3–4 minutes, Prabhas’s voice-over leaves a lasting impact. Goosebumps guaranteed!" Similarly, hailing the film for its visuals, a user said, "MIRAI BEST VISUALS EVER - From People Media Factory Never Expected this Level and a GREAT Interval BANGER"

A trade analyst and film critic went on to say, "MiraiReview – A Lesson for Bollywood. Filmmakers should truly take note of how Telugu directors achieve such world-class VFX at just a fraction of the cost. Mirai made on a Rs 50 Cr budget with perhaps Rs 10–15 Cr spent on VFX, still delivers results far superior to Bollywood films mounted on Rs 500 Cr."

Another positive review read, "Mirai is a bold, visually ambitious movie that hits many of the right notes for fantasy-action fans, especially on the big screen. If you’re looking for spectacle, mythic themes, strong action sequences, and dramatic set-pieces (interval, climax), it delivers."

One user posted their review at the interval saying, "Completed my 1st half. Good and engaging, top notch vfx in low budget and cons are cringe comedy."

About Mirai

Mirai is about a young warrior who is given a task to protect the nine sacred scriptures that can possibly turn any mortal into a deity. It explores human values and emotions like compassion, ethics, hatred and greed. The film marks Teja’s next after his Rs 295 crore superhero film HanuMan (2023), which was a surprise hit when it was released.

Mirai is helmed by Karthik and produced by TG Vishwa Prasad and Krithi Prasad under People Media Factory. It also features Jagapathi Babu, Shriya Saran, Jayaram and others in key roles. The film was released in theatres on 12 September.
