The Malayalam superstar Mohanlal has taken the web ablaze. The south icon has been sent a legal notice by The Kerala Khadi and Village Industries Board for a recent advertisement he has shot. As per the board, the advertisement, where he is seen spinning a charkha, is completely misleading.

Why, you ask? The board stated that the charkha is a symbol of the freedom struggle, and it cannot be misused to sell textiles. They have also requested the superstar to pull the advertisement.
