Veteran actor Nandamuri Balakrishna recently suffered a leg injury on the sets of his upcoming movie, tentatively titled NBK 111. The actor suffered an injury reportedly while filming an action sequence in Kakinada. The actor was allegedly shooting a fight scene in and around the Kakinada Port area when he got injured. He was immediately rushed to a hospital, where doctors diagnosed him with a ligament tear in his leg.

Nandamuri Balakrishna to undergo surgery

According to a report by Gulte, doctors have advised the actor to undergo a minor surgery. If Nandamuri agrees to proceed with the procedure, he is expected to take a few weeks of rest before resuming work on the film. Soon after the reports of his injury surfaced, actor Jr NTR extended best wishes to the actor on X, saying, "Get well soon Bala Babai. Wishing you a speedy recovery and good health. Looking forward to seeing you roar back in full form."
