Allu Arjun won the Best Actor National Film Award for Pushpa: The Rise. He penned a note and said he feels 'honoured and humbled'

At the 69th National Film Awards, Allu Arjun bagged the Best Actor award for Pushpa: The Rise. He played the titular role in the blockbuster pan-India film directed by Sukumar. While the Telugu star is working on the sequel of Pushpa, he penned a note on being honoured with the award. He thanked his fans for showering love and sending good wishes.
In a tweet, Allu Arjun wrote, "A huge congratulations to all the national award winners across various categories and languages throughout the nation. Your accomplishments are truly commendable. & I would like to express my gratitude for the love and wishes pouring in from all corners of the country. Feeling honored and humbled by it all. Thank you for the love. Humbled."

The Telugu heartthrob and director Sukumar celebrated the win on Thursday. Mythri Movie Makers, the producers of Pushpa: The Rise, shared a video and wrote, "Maverick director @aryasukku and our producers #NaveenYerneni garu and #RaviShankar garu shower their happiness and love on Icon Star @alluarjunonline for becoming THE FIRST ACTOR FROM TFI to win the BEST ACTOR at the National Awards." Allu Arjun's wife Sneha, son Ayaan and daughter Arha were with him to celebrate the success.
Allu Arjun became the first Telugu actor to win National Award for Best Actor. Apart from him, Devi Sri Prasad won the Best Music Director award for Pushpa: The Rise. The first part of Pushpa also starred Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil. Directed by Sukumar, the pan-India film was produced by Mythri Movie Makers. It released on December 17, 2021. The sequel of Pushpa is currently on floors. Titled Pushpa: The Rule, the film is scheduled to release in 2024.
