After pictures of Rajinikanth outside a hospital in the US went viral, there has been speculation about his health. South lyricist and Thalaiva’s close aide, Vairamuthu, cleared the air by providing a health update. He shared that Rajini had called him and informed him that his check-up went well. In a Twitter post, the lyricist revealed that Rajinikanth is hale and hearty. A section of netizens expressed disappointment over Rajini’s friendship with Vairamuthu despite singer Chinmayi and others levelling sexual harassment charges against the lyricist.
