Actress Rakul Preet Singh recently celebrated as her 2017 Telugu romantic actioner Jaya Janaki Nayaka became YouTube's highest-watched Indian film. Directed by Boyapati Srinu, starring Rakul and Bellamkonda Sreenivas, the film flopped when it was released at the box office 8 years ago.

In her latest Instagram Story, Rakul expressed gratitude while saying that her character of Janaki will be one of those that will stay with her forever. She wrote, "Some characters stay with you forever, and Janaki will always be one of them. Thank you for all the love you've shown and for making Jaya Janaki Nayaka the highest-watched Indian film on YouTube ever. This is a special feat. (sic)."
