Ram Charan completed the long-pending Delhi leg of Peddi earlier this week. Originally, director Buchi Babu Sana intended to conduct the schedule in the capital between late October and mid-November, with shoots planned in locations in and around the Red Fort. However, in the wake of the November 10 blast near the Red Fort and the subsequent heightened security concerns, the unit had to put the plan on hold.

A source recalls, “After the blast, the permission to shoot was revoked, and movement around sensitive zones stood curtailed. The production team postponed the schedule rather than rushing through the shoot.”

The sports drama’s team returned to Delhi in the second week of December. Over a 15-day stint, they shot crucial portions of the film near Rashtrapati Bhavan, Kartavya Path, and adjoining landmark locations. According to insiders, Charan and the crew often shot in the early mornings to avoid public disruption. With the Delhi schedule now wrapped, Peddi, also starring Janhvi Kapoor, moves into its final phase of shooting.
