Ram Charan's Peddi gets U/A certificate after covering middle finger, deleting reference to Rajasthan and a community

Ram Charan's upcoming sports drama, Peddi, has been cleared for release by the CBFC with a U/A certificate. The film was passed after a few changes were made to the final cut including covering a middle finger scene among others

Ram Charan and Janhvi Kapoor's upcoming sports drama Peddi is undoubtedly one of the most-awaited releases of 2026. Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, the film is scheduled for worldwide theatrical release on June 4. Ahead of its release, the Central Board of Film Certification has certified the film, giving it a U/A 16+ certificate.

Peddi passed with U/A certificate

Notably, the film's certification development comes days after the makers unveiled the official trailer. The trailer was unveiled at a grand event held in Mumbai. Now, the CBFC has passed Peddi with a U/A 16+ certificate.
