<p>Kannada actor <strong><a href="https://www.mid-day.com/entertainment/regional-indian-cinema-news/article/kannada-actor-darshan-taken-into-police-custody-in-renuka-swamy-murder-case-23353653" target="_blank" rel="none noopener">Darshan</a></strong>'s wife, Vijayalakshmi Darshan, has finally spoken up about the murder accusations against her husband. She has requested a court order to stop the media from sharing unverified information about the ongoing case.</p>

<p><strong><a href="https://www.mid-day.com/entertainment/regional-indian-cinema-news/article/kichcha-sudeep-on-darshan-arrest-in-murder-case-all-the-blame-seems-to-be-placed-on-the-film-industry-23354518" target="_blank" rel="none noopener">Vijayalakshmi </a></strong>posted a picture of the injunction order on her Instagram and added a caption to it. &ldquo;At the outset, I express my heartfelt condolences to the family of the deceased Sri. Renukaswamy. Alongside, The last few days have been full of anguish for Darshan, myself, my teenage son &amp; all of Darshan&rsquo;s friends, family &amp; Fans.&rdquo;</p>
<p>&ldquo;With this order issued by the Honourable Court, I hope people will put to rest, some falsified information &amp; untruths that were being spread across various media &amp; social media platforms. I urge everyone to kindly publish only what is officially put out by the enforcement authorities. I have full faith in Ma Chamundeshwari &amp; in our legal system. Let Justice Prevail,&rdquo; she concluded.</p>
<p><strong>Latest update on</strong> <strong>Renukaswamy murder case</strong></p>
<p>Kannada actor Darshan Thoogudeepa has been in the news after he was arrested in the Renukaswamy murder case. He, along with his friend and actor Pavithra Gowda, is in custody and being interrogated as an accused in the case. Now a new update suggests that Renukaswamy was tortured by being given electric shocks, and his body was kept in the security room in the shed.</p>
<p>CNN-News 18 shared, &ldquo;The body was kept in the security room in the shed. So far, around 118 materials have been seized by the police, which includes vehicle, objects used to hit Renukaswamy. There&rsquo;s an electric shock angle also that&rsquo;s also come to light. Electric shock was used to torture Renukaswamy by one of the accused perpetrators. An electrical insulation device was used to administer electric shock to the victim. Gold jewellery and a watch were also stolen from the victim&rsquo;s body after his death. The police have conducted spot investigation in almost 14 locations in Bengaluru where the murder took place at the shed, also at the residence of Pavitra Gowda.&rdquo;</p>
<p><strong>About the Renukaswamy murder case</strong></p>
<p>Darshan was taken into custody by the Bengaluru police on June 11. It is alleged that Renukaswamy, who worked with a pharmacy company and hailed from the district headquarters town of Chitradurga, had made derogatory comments against actress Pavithra Gowda, who is reportedly a friend of Darshan, in social media posts, the sources said. The actress is also detained by police for questioning.</p><p>
