Samantha Ruth Prabhu most recently appeared in the Telugu movies Shaakuntalam and Kushi, both released in 2023. This year, she returned to Tollywood, but only for a cameo in Subham, a horror comedy produced by her company, Tralala Moving Pictures. Samantha announced in an Instagram Q and A session that she will return to the Telugu cinema business with a new project.

Samantha revealed in 2024, on her birthday, that she would star in and produce the film Maa Inti Bangaram. The first billboard showed her adorned in a saree and mangalsutra. Samantha is shown holding a gun in the poster, her face stained with blood and her hands covered in henna.



While there have been no updates on the picture since then, the actor has verified that it has not been scrapped. When questioned about her 'future Telugu ventures', she said in a video on her Instagram stories, "Finally, I have an answer to this question. Maa Inti Bangaram. It finally begins this month." The film's director and other elements have not yet been released.

Samantha Ruth Prabhu's recent work 

Samantha last appeared in Raj & DK's Citadel: Honey Bunny, which premiered on Prime Video in 2024. She is now filming a Netflix series named Rakt Brahmand: The Bloody Kingdom with the duo. Samantha has invested in various wellness enterprises after she publicly announced her myositis diagnosis in 2022, following her divorce from Naga Chaitanya in 2021. Samantha and Raj have been in the headlines for their rumoured relationship. From being spotted together at events to vacationing together, fans have kept them in buzz. 

Samantha got candid about it in the Q and A, “A quote that changed my life and continues to change my life, and gives me complete perspective is ‘You will find your purpose in the things that bother you.’ Everything that I am a part of, if you draw a map, it will all be connected to things that bother me. And I think that simplified my life in many ways.” She also shared how Isha Foundation is her ‘second home’ and has been her support system through ‘many ups and downs’.
