Punjabi singer Inder Kaur, also known as Yashinder Kaur, was found dead six days after she was allegedly kidnapped at gunpoint in Punjab. The 29-year-old singer’s body was recovered from the Neelo Canal on Tuesday, with police suspecting that the crime was linked to a rejected marriage proposal from a man identified as Sukhwinder Singh.

According to a report by PTC Punjab, the 29-year-old singer had been missing since May 13. Her family identified her body after it was recovered from the Neelo Canal on Tuesday morning at around 11 am. The body has since been sent to the Civil Hospital in Samrala for postmortem examination and other legal procedures.
