Prabhas' fans had been eagerly waiting for the actor to return to the big screen. Hence, when The RajaSaab finally released on January 9, 2026, their excitement knew no bounds. Known for going all out during their film releases, the fans this time around brought crocodiles into the cinema halls during the screening of the film. This was to imitate a stunt in the film's trailer, which shows Prabhas’ character fighting and throwing a crocodile during a fight.

In the videos now going viral on social media, fans are seen holding the crocodiles above their heads and running inside the theatre. This left some of the audience members shocked. However, the crocodiles carried by fans were not real animals but dummies.

It was a reference to a scene in The RajaSaab trailer wherein Prabhas' character throws around a crocodile during a fight sequence with the animal.

Angry fans storm into The RajaSaab preview shows

Interestingly, this is not the first instance of Prabhas fans going berserk during The RajaSaab screenings. Earlier today, videos of fans storming into the preview shows went viral. Notably, the premiere shows of The Raja Saab kicked off across Andhra Pradesh from 9 pm on Thursday. But the film faced some last-minute hindrances in Hyderabad after a delay in the issuance of the government order.

This uncertainty sparked confusion, leading to agitated fans storming into theatres, gathering near the main gates, climbing walls, shouting and venting their anger.

The situation was escalated at Vimal Theatre, where a large number of fans were seen forcing their way into the theatre during The Raja Saab media premiere and refusing to leave. The angry fans insisted that the show be screened for them.

The Raja Saab marks Prabhas’s return to the big screen. The pan-India horror-comedy is directed by Maruthi, starring Prabhas alongside Sanjay Dutt, Malavika Mohanan, Boman Irani, Nidhhi Agerwal, Riddhi Kumar, and Zarina Wahab. It was released on January 9 across Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam markets. The film is produced by People Media Factory and IVY Entertainment.
