Director Siddlaghatta Srinivas is launching a host of new faces in the film, which tackles betting in the cricketing world. Rani, a model who hails from Hassan, is the heroine.u00a0u00a0 <br /><br />"Alok's comfort level with the camera is amazing considering that he's a newcomer. I was also impressed by the ease with which he does action scenes," says Srinivas. <br /><br />But why didn't Kashinath launch his son's film career? "I wanted Alok to struggle like any other newcomer. Of course, I read the script of Baaji and gave him my honest opinion. Apart from that, I refuse to get involved in any aspect of the film. As a father, I am curious to know the audience response to my son's first film," he replies. Baaji releases next Friday.
