While Yash’s Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-ups has been one of the most anticipated films, the film has also landed in controversy after its assets, including its recent teaser, Ladies and Ladies, were released. The internet has been criticising the film for its sensual scenes, with many viewers calling out the "vulgar" content. Amid the backlash, an old interview of the actor saying that he would never perform a scene that he wouldn't be comfortable watching with his parents has now gone viral. Yash's earlier comments have sparked conversations online.

Yash's old interview resurfaces

Earlier, during an appearance on actor Ramesh Aravind's talk show Weekend With Ramesh, Yash explained the principle he has always tried to follow. He added that he would get so nervous while doing those scenes on set, saying, “People, including Radhika, would laugh at me while I performed a romantic scene."
