An accident on the sets of superstar Rajinikanth’s upcoming film Jailer 2 has claimed the life of a young crew member. According to reports, a man working on the film died of electrocution at a private studio in Chennai.

On Thursday, news agency PTI reported that the deceased crew member has been identified as Karthikeyan. As per preliminary police investigations, the 28-year-old suffered a fatal electric shock while working with the art direction department. The team was reportedly erecting a house-like set for the shoot of Jailer 2.
