The duo recently headed to New York, where they participated in India Day Parade. In a viral video, they were seen holding hands, which has left their fans excited.

Thousands of Indian-Americans gathered in New York on Sunday (local time) to celebrate India's 79th Independence Day at the annual India Day Parade. It is one of the largest such celebrations outside India. This year's parade featured actors Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda as Grand Marshals.
For the India Day Parade, Vijay and Rashmika turned up in colour-coordinated outfits. While the Kingdom actor was seen in a heavily embroidered beige sherwani, Rashmika looked drop-dead gorgeous in a beige embroidered suit with red dupatta. The two were seen holding hands, talking and laughing as they greeted the people on the streets.
A video from the celebration is taking over social media, showing the alleged couple holding hands as they walked through the streets of Manhattan. Their PDA has since sparked widespread attention.

Several dignitaries, including Congressman Shri Thanedar and New York City Mayor Eric Adams, also joined the celebrations. The Consulate General of India in New York showcased a float themed "Viksit Bharat 2047", highlighting India's vision of becoming a developed nation by the centenary of its independence. The celebrations also coincided with Shri Krishna Janmashtami, marked by a Rath Yatra organised by ISKCON New York, which drew hundreds of devotees.
