Actor Vishal is currently recovering from a back injury he sustained while filming an action sequence for his upcoming Tamil film Purushan. The incident reportedly happened in Goa, where the actor continued shooting despite experiencing pain. However, he was advised three weeks of rest. While he is currently undergoing treatment, reports suggesting that his condition is gradually improving.

According to a report by Cinema Vikatan, the actor sustained a back injury during a fight scene choreographed by Kanal Kannan in the Sundar C directorial. The actor was filming a fight sequence involving several fighters. As per reports, he completed the day's shoot despite the discomfort due to the injury and even returned to work the following day, since the schedule was nearing its end. However, the pain worsened. He then consulted doctors, who recommended three weeks of rest.
