Man accused in robbery of Rs 1 crore at Lopamudra Raut’s home, arrested

Actor and former Bigg Boss contestant Lopamudra Raut faced a theft at her house when valuables worth Rs 1 crore were reportedly stolen from her Mumbai home in July 2026. The man accused of stealing valuables was arrested in Darbhanga, Bihar, on Saturday. The Santacruz police traced and arrested the accused, Chandan Mukhiya, a resident of Goth Mitti village in Darbhanga district, with the help of the local police.
About the theft at Lopamudra Raut's home
According to the police, Mukhiya had allegedly entered Raut’s house through a ventilator in July after first conducting a recce of the property. The police added that he had been scouting locked houses across Mumbai. During one such recce, Mukhiya allegedly spotted Raut’s Santacruz residence and returned later when he found an opportunity to break in.
