Actor Angad Hasija has spoken out in support of Ashnoor Kaur after a recent Bigg Boss 19 promo triggered controversy and online criticism against her. The promo showed a moment during a physical task where Ashnoor accidentally hit contestant Tanya Mittal with a wooden plank, leading to negative reactions from netizens who believed the act was intentional.

The incident took place during the Ticket to Finale task, where contestants had to balance a long wooden plank on their shoulders with water-filled buckets hung on either side. In the promo, Ashnoor is seen adjusting her balance while bending her head downward, without realising Tanya was standing directly behind her. The plank accidentally struck Tanya, after which Ashnoor immediately apologised. However, the short promo clip circulated online without full context, resulting in harsh comments and blame being directed at Ashnoor.

After watching the promo and observing the reaction online, Angad Hasija came forward to support his co-actor and shared an exclusive statement addressing the issue. He said, “As correctly pointed out by Ashnoor in the promo, I'm also tired of fake narratives set against her time and again. Ashnoor was manhandled by Tanya, Kunickaa and Neelam at once during a task, but not once did she create a scene or play the sympathy card! She always took tasks in a sportsmanship spirit because she's aware that physical tasks may result in rough-housing, and it's alright. But some people are clearly taking advantage of the nature of physical tasks and playing a sympathy card, which is really not right.”

Fight inside Bigg Boss 19 house

Here's what had happened inside the house: Tanya and Ashnoor had a clash during the Ticket to Finale task, where Ashnoor's plank hit Tanya and she was left stunned. However, later the matter got escalated.

His statement has opened discussion about how selective edits and limited footage in promos can shape public perception and create misleading narratives. Many viewers online have now begun reviewing the full task video to understand the complete context.

The incident has sparked debate about fairness, gameplay strategies, and responsibility in reality television storytelling.
