He said, "I was not able to earn an audience like others. Real life is outside, and I have failed there. I have not been able to do anything. People often tell me, ‘Behen ki kamayi pe palta hu.’ Yes, I do. My sister gives me money, and I depend on her because I have no one else. Her fans also keep saying I survive on her money. If my sister is providing for me, I will happily take that. I am such a person that today if my sister jokingly tells me to jump from a cliff, I won’t take a second."

This conversation took place in a lighter tone when Shehbaz was praising Mridul Tiwari for his accomplishments. In another event, Shehbaz mentioned that he was starting a singing career and that he needed to invest some money at first. He even sold his car to fund his music record, but it didn't pan out. Earlier, Shehbaz had shared, "I don’t feel any pressure as such. I feel proud to be known as Shehnaz’s brother because it’s my own blood at the end of the day. He even revealed that he would never do any other reality show, "I will never do any other reality show. I only wanted to do Bigg Boss. I swear on Shehnaaz, even if someone offered me Rs 200 crore and Bigg Boss, if I had to choose one, I would still choose Bigg Boss over Rs 200 crore. Money doesn’t matter, it never did. I can wear the same clothes for 10 days."
