Reality television has come full circle for Yuvika Chaudhary. From meeting Prince Narula on a reality show to now entering another one as a wife and mother, The 50 marks a deeply personal and transformative chapter for the actor. In an exclusive chat with midday, Yuvika spoke candidly about why she chose to participate, competing alongside Prince, leaving daughter Ekleen behind, and rediscovering herself.

On joining with Prince Narula

Reflecting on how life has changed since her first brush with reality TV, Yuvika said, “I met Prince through a reality show, now I’m married, I have a kid and I’m going again. What’s going to happen? Yes, again with Prince only.”

Talking about entering the game together, she acknowledged both comfort and complexity. “There will be some emotional support, strategy, everything. It’s going to be a full test again of emotions. Sometimes support is good, and sometimes when it comes to emotions, it gets a little tough. So let’s see how it’s going to happen,” she shared.

Calling The 50 her comeback, Yuvika revealed she’s ready to return to work full time. “This is my comeback, I would say. And then there’s no stopping. You’ll see me back to work. I’m open to work with everybody now,” she said, expressing interest in both television and OTT platforms. “People are experimenting, there are so many series coming. I would love to try.”

Leaving daughter home was the toughest decision

The toughest decision, however, was staying away from her daughter Ekleen. “That was a decision. That’s why we signed so late. We kept thinking should we do this or not,” she shared. Still, she believes it will be worth it. “I’m sure she’s going to be very proud of us when she grows up.”

Yuvika also spoke about the values she hopes to instil in her daughter. “I want to make my daughter so strong that in the future she doesn’t need her parents. Of course, we’re always by her side, but I want her to be a strong and smart girl in today’s time,” she said, smiling about raising a Gen Alpha child. “I want to give her good values so that we also enjoy seeing her grow.”

Admitting she’s nervous about the unpredictability of the show, Yuvika concluded, “I’m a little scared because there are no rules. That gives me goosebumps but let’s see.”

With emotions, evolution, and a fresh start at its core, The 50 is shaping up to be one of Yuvika Chaudhary’s most personal journeys yet.
